Can I just say how much I love Forklift 2?  No?  Well too bad, ‘cause I really love Forklift 2.  It makes things so easy to get my fresh installs back to the way I like ’em.

I really need to buy an upgraded license.

My attempt at a homemade chai tea latte was a success!  Sure it doesn’t have proper microfoam, but I don’t have a steaming wand.

With Lion installed I found myself missing a feature in the Finder that I didn’t even realize I used; the slider in the bottom right corner that resizes icons.  As trivial is this slider may seem, it turns out that I used it quite a bit; especially to resize photo thumbnails.  To get the slider back, all I had to do was go to the View menu with a Finder window open and choose Show Status Bar.  Et voila!  The icon adjusting slider is back!  No more pressing cmd + J to bring up the view options to resize icons.

The ability to make custom keyboard shortcuts in OS X are just one of the many little features that I love.  Thanks for the attention to detail Apple.

I got bored today and decided to do a little mod to my WJ.  I drilled out the original bottom seat hinges and put in quick release pins so the bottom rear seats can be easily removed.  This makes just enough room for me to fit my 6’3" self in the back of my Jeep.  That’ll come in handy if I ever have to sleep in there.
