Finally found a new WJ!  She’s a 2002 Limited with the v8 and Quadra-Drive transfer case. Sunroof, leather, power seats, this thing is loaded!

It’s time for an SSD

I have been wanting to run a dual drive setup in my MacBook Pro for quite some time, one drive being a smaller SSD and the other a large hard drive. At first it was the warranty on my Mac stopping me from doing so, but that has long since expired. The other thing stopping me was the price of SSDs, fortunately they are now under $1 per GB. What finally made me jump was reading a little SSD upgrade guide on Lifehacker.

I purchased a 128 GB Crucial SSD, a hard drive caddy for the optical drive bay of my MacBook Pro, and an external USB enclosure for my SuperDrive.

I can’t wait to get everything installed!

There’s something about the sound of a whirring hard drive in an iPod Classic that just feels so right.

I bought my 2.4 Ghz core i5 MacBook Pro with a HiRes 15" Anti-glare display 2 years and 2 months ago.  With 4 GB of RAM, a 640 GB hard drive and Snow Leopard installed (I didn’t care for Lion) I’d like to report that its still running strong.  I love this computer.

Oh, I’ve just been waiting for my new titanium watch band for my Casio Pathfinder to arrive.  Third time better be a charm for the USPS.
